Thinking Fitness at Chatham

Welcome

Thinking Fitness at Chatham is the founding gym in the Thinking Fitness group, which now has locations in both the South East and South West of England. As part of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust, our gyms are based on school sites, providing students with access to high-end fitness equipment, and a clean and versatile environment.

What's more, all profits made by our gyms are recyled back into education, supporting the Trust's 18 schools located across the country. This helps to fund for equipment, maintain our facilities and much more.

What's included?

Our gym is open to anyone who would like to join, from students to the local community. With a variety of no long-term commitment membership options to choose from, there is something to suit everyone's needs.

Adult memberships are fully inclusive, providing you with access to our Gym & Classes.

Junior memberships are available to children ages 11-15 for a lower monthly cost. Junior members are invited to attend the gym at the following times:

  • Weekdays between 5pm and 8pm or until close if accompanied by an adult over the age of 21
  • Weekends between 9am and 5pm or until close if accompanied by an adult over the age of 21

To join, simply select your payment method of choice and take that first step on your Thinking Fitness journey.

About our Facilities

Thinking Fitness at Chatham is equipped with the latest resistance machines with onboard computer technology to assist you with your training and a dedicated free weights area. The air conditioned gym has everything you need to keep fit including elliptical trainers, tread machines, cycle trainers and rowing machines.

If you’re looking to take part in classes then we have an excellent choice ranging from Spin to Pilates. Check out our class timetable below or speak to a member of our team for more details. 

We are more than just a gym. Our Thinking Lettings service offers the option to hire out a selection of our facilities to the local community and further afield. Whether you are a dance school needing a performance space or you run a Thursday evening 5-a-side football club, we have the facilities for you.

Our Classes

At Thinking Fitness we are dedicated to helping you on your fitness journey, no matter what your end goal is. Our diverse range of classes are suitable for any workout plan and a great opportunity to extend your training past the gym floor.

Class times run between 30 - 60 minutes, class dependent, and are all included within the full adult memberships. We do offer a pay as you go option on our classes. For more information on this, please speak to a member of our team.

Monthly

11-15 Junior Membership

To sign up, we ask that parents visit us at the Thinking Fitness reception to complete the relevant forms, providing parental consent. 

16 -18 School Student Membership

 Membership open for 16-18 year old's with restrictions on some classes with a £5 joining fee.

Meet the team

Personal Trainer

Adam has worked for Thinking Fitness since the beginning and has moved through the ranks now working as one of our Senior Sports Coordinators. He is Level 2 and 3 Gym Qualified meaning he is a fully Qualified Personal Trainer and can assist you with all your training needs. Health and Fitness has always been a passion for Adam having experience competing at a national level in various sporting events.

So whether you are looking to improve for a sport specific goal or general fitness Adam is here to assist you.

Fitness Instructor

Tyrone joined us in July 2019 as Senior Sports Coordinator and has worked hard to gain his Level 2 in Fitness Instructing.

Tyrone has a passion for Fitness and is committed to help grow the Thinking Fitness brand and improving customer experience. He currently offers inductions and is able to create work out plans to help you meet your current fitness goals using our pulse move system.
