Thinking Fitness at Chatham is the founding gym in the Thinking Fitness group, which now has locations in both the South East and South West of England. As part of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust, our gyms are based on school sites, providing students with access to high-end fitness equipment, and a clean and versatile environment.
What's more, all profits made by our gyms are recyled back into education, supporting the Trust's 29 schools located across the country. This helps to fund equipment, maintain our facilities and so much more!
Our gym is open to anyone who would like to join, from students to the local community. With a variety of no long-term commitment membership options to choose from, there is something to suit everyone's needs.
Adult memberships are fully inclusive, providing you with access to our Gym & Classes.
Junior memberships are available to children ages 11-15 for a lower monthly cost. Junior members are invited to attend the gym at the following times:

Thinking Fitness at Chatham is equipped with the latest resistance machines with onboard computer technology to assist you with your training and a dedicated free weights area. The air conditioned gym has everything you need to keep fit including elliptical trainers, tread machines, cycle trainers and rowing machines.

We are more than just a gym. Our Thinking Lettings service offers the option to hire out a selection of our facilities to the local community and further afield. Whether you are a dance school needing a performance space or you run an evening 5-a-side football club, we have the facilities for you.

At Thinking Fitness we are dedicated to helping you on your fitness journey, no matter what your end goal is. Our diverse range of classes are suitable for any workout plan and a great opportunity to extend your training past the gym floor.

Adam has worked for Thinking Fitness since the beginning and has moved through the ranks now working as one of our Senior Sports Coordinators. He is Level 2 and 3 Gym Qualified meaning he is a fully Qualified Personal Trainer and can assist you with all your training needs. Health and Fitness has always been a passion for Adam having experience competing at a national level in various sporting events.

Salma joined us in August 2021 as a sports coordinator and has over the years moved through the ranks and become a Senior Fitness and Lettings Officer. She joined the Thinking Fitness team whilst she was completing her studies at university and has since gone on to graduate BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science and Criminology.
Salma’s passion and understanding of fitness has grown since she first joined us, and she is committed to help grow the Thinking Fitness Brand and improving customer experience. She currently offers assistance with any Fitness or Lettings inquiries.

I joined Thinking Fitness in December 2022 as a Senior Sports Coordinator. I have completed my level 2 fitness instructor course and have nearly finished my level 3 personal training course. I am also currently working on an exercise to music course which will allow me to teach classes on top of being a personal trainer at TF.
I have a passion for fitness and want to help other people reach their fitness goals. Whether it is through creating a programme, 1 on 1 coaching or teaching a class. I am determined to help others however possible.

I joined TF in November 2021 as a Sports Coordinator. In the future, I hope to become a sports physiotherapist and work for a professional sports team. I have a strong passion for fitness and enjoy learning new things within the fitness environment.
I used to play competitively for both Hockey and Netball teams whilst also currently studying Sport Exercise and Health Science at school which has allowed me to gain vast transferable knowledge to bring to the fitness sector.

Hello, my name is Naveen and I am currently a Fitness and Lettings Assistant at Thinking Fitness. Also a sixth form student studying A level PE in the hopes of progressing my education by getting into a university degree which closely relates to the fitness industry as this is something that I have a passion for. Being within TF has also been a great benefactor to gaining key knowledge and experience within the fitness industry to help me progress within the sector.
On top of that, another one of my interests is netball, I currently play at a competitive level for both my school and a club.
